I am a science writer, cartoonist and illustrator based in Australia.

I studied immunology and have a background in virus research, before discovering my love of exploring different formats of telling science research stories, from megabats to giant viruses.

My work has been published by ABC Science, COSMOS, Nature News, Nature Index, Australian Geographic and The Conversation Australia.

My articles have also been featured in The Best Australian Science Writing 2017, 2019, 2020 & 2021. I was also editor of the 2022 Best Australian Science Writing anthology, and audio producer on ABC RN’s Cosmic Vertigo podcast.
